New Razberi Core records to data center while offering cybersecurity protection to end points
LAS VEGAS – April 10, 2018 – Razberi™ Technologies has added Razberi Core™ to its intelligent video surveillance platform, giving organizations the option to centrally record heavier workloads while protecting the entire ecosystem from cyber attacks and other threats.
“As organizations add cameras and IoT devices, they need the flexibility to record at the edge or the core or both without compromising on security,” said Tom Galvin, Razberi CEO. “By adding Razberi Core, our video surveillance platform now gives us the unique ability to meet our customers’ varying needs and grow with them while providing cybersecurity protection and health monitoring.”
Razberi Core is specifically built to scale to enterprise and mission-critical surveillance applications. The appliance can operate as a standalone video server or integrate with the new Razberi EndpointDefender™ and Razberi Monitor™ products. These provide automated cybersecurity safeguards and health monitoring across the surveillance system – from cameras to the server.
EndpointDefender includes the award-winning Razberi CameraDefense™ software that automatically applies cybersecurity best practices to harden attached cameras and other network and IoT devices. Razberi Core or edge appliances such as the ServerSwitchIQ™ can manage multiple EndpointDefender devices and centrally monitor all end points.
“As an integrator the scenarios we see for video surveillance systems are endless, which is why a modular platform like Razberi’s is so valuable,” said Jake Vande Hey, vice president of sales and marketing for Enterprise Systems Group (ESG). “Razberi Core gives our customers a smart alternative to off-the-shelf servers and switches, with the option to backhaul video to the data center while still shielding their networks from cyber threats.”
Core appliances support up to 168 terabytes of storage using hot-swappable disk drives. With Core and EndpointDefender, Razberi systems can economically scale from eight to 150 cameras or more per appliance in either a central or distributed recording architecture.
Razberi Core and EndpointDefender are available now. For more information, visit Razberi in booth 9077 at ISC West or go to https://razberi.net/products-solutions/data-center-appliances/razberi-core/. For a complete view of the Razberi product-line, download the Solutions Brochure.
