How do I factory reset the switch?
The SSIQ Switch and the EndPoint Defender can be reset 3 ways on the SSIQ and 2 ways on EPD. For SSIQ only, the Setup Wizard on the compute node under ‘SWITCH CONFIGURATION’ has a button to Factory Reset. On SSIQ and EPD, under the Admin Tab in the web interface is a button to Factory Reset the switch. If you’re unable to access either the Setup Wizard or the switch UI, perform the following actions:
[1] Remove Power from switch and disconnect all devices and U1 if used.
[2] Power up the unit and wait 90 seconds to completely boot.
[3] Connect ports 1 and 2 together with a short CAT5/6 cable to create a loopback condition. All port lights should light up once to confirm.
[4] Remove cable and allow switch to reboot at least 90 seconds. Reconnect all devices.
